Hey guys, I’m sorry to disturb you from your 1.0 routine work.
It’s me again.
With great or bad news, it depends on you 😉
I already shared a lot about the fact we have to change the way we are organising our companies if we want to attract the upcoming generation. I already wrote a lot about the fact we should apply to HR the marketing recipes. Because we, HR & leaders, are managing people. Marketing core business is to help companies to better manage people’needs to improve business performance. So is HR core business. Then… what works for marketing should work for HR, shouldn’t it.
Ok. Let’s go straight-to-the-point. The following video is explaining us what the Z generation is waiting from Marketing.
And yep, Good/Bad news (make your mind) : Gen Z will expect the same from HR. And from any leadership position. Are you ready for…
– co-creation?
– permanent connectivity?
– immediate information and feedback?
– massive peer influence?
– autonomy and freedom of choice?
– flexiwork and flexitools?
Are you? Great, then you are ready to win the war for talent! Don’t hesitate to share your tips and tricks with your peers. We are eager to learn from you!
And to everybody, meantime spread happiness around you. Because you’re worth it!
Frightening !
All this may be true but these kids are just taking themselves so seriously, makes me want to give them a good kick in the ass and make them smile 🙂
I guess they’ve been briefed before the shooting.
Anyway that’s really the way they see the world. And, figures speak in their favor. In 2014 in Belgium, 1 person will leave the labour market for 1 who is joining it. In 2020, 7 will leave for 3 coming. (r)Evolution you said? 🙂
